Tax Return

Here in Canada the taxes are CRAZY! In most areas, you have to pay 14% tax for most of the things you buy. Thankfully there's something called "tax return" which basically means that you can get some of your money back. But, you have to remember to file your tax every year!

Tax Clinics
The university might provide the students (especially first year students) tax clinic to help them file their taxes. Find out if the university you're at provide that service. All you have to do is show up with some documents. Click here to see the list of documents that University of Toronto Mississauga students have to provide in order to file their taxes, so that you can get an idea of what to bring. I think the documents to bring are the same for all students from all universities but since I'm not sure I won't make that assumption.
