Last week was pie week at U of Alberta, the week was for fund raising for something (a good cause I guess). Anyways I just thought it'll be great to expose the ICPU students to the life at U of A.
That was fun right?
Anyways, there's something that Sadid (1st year student) would like to tell the juniors who is considering about coming here. Since he is currently busy with assignments, I'll tell you what he wanna say. He said:
1) Juniors who wanna come here better sign up for in-campus residence.
2) Contact him if any problem should come up.

@fa2din: Dua-dua ada baik dan buruknya. Aku skang dok off campus. Dari segi duit, dok off campus lebih baik. Tapi kena korban masa skit dari segi nak sediakan makanan dan commute ke universiti. Yang dok on campus tak payah risau suma tu tapi sakit benor nak bayar fee dok on campus. Ada yang sampai kena mintak duit dari mak bapak. Ada yang request kat JPA nak duit lebih tp tak dapat. Ada yang berisiko kena bayar interest sebab lambat bayar yuran.
So, you take your pick. Dari segi belajar, dok on campus maybe buleh focus skit sbb x byk benda nk risau mcm commuting dan makanan. Majoriti dari kitorang suma dok off campus. So, pikir-pikir sendiri la ye.
But one thing is certain, jangan sesekali dok sorang-sorang tak kesah la on campus or off campus sbb you need a buddy. Unless ko ni jenis loner la tapi manusia fitrahnya mana nakkan kesunyian betul x? Pasal tu la suma nak kawen (lain topik..hehe)

tambahan kepada komen aiman, ini turut disertakan faktor winter. winter kat edmonton luar biasa sikit. rmai yg x sanggup nk tunggu bas time winter kt sni. korang try dlu rse winter kt sni, then bru decide btul korang nk duk luar. senior 3rd year dan ke atas rmai je yg dduk on-campus, so xyah risau la.
myb off campus ke on campus depend on which uni korg pg kot...cm Alberta on campus dowg xler smahal Toronto(rsenye) n dats why bole duk on campus, so basically check ngn senior dr Uni yg korg nk g for residence...=)

@fa2din:org ckp klu first year better dok on campus, tp klu ade seniors nk tolong, btter dok off campus.stakat cuace sejuk tu,bese la. ble lagi nk rase an. name pon CANADA.lame2 akn get used to it jugak.em,dok tempat org ni kne blaja cmne nk survive.evn if u happen to go somewhere alone, doesnt mean u'll b alone forever.i'm the only malay girl in UofS,mmg byk gak la cabran mule2. but now, alhamdulillah, i can survive.people around u will always give a hand.insha allah. malys 3-4 ketul je kat saskatchewan ni, n malaysians pon xdela besar sgt community.but the good thing is, u can have more opportunities to mix with dffrnt groups n cultures.xdela berkepit dgn ur own group je kan.name pon duk oversea, so kne la cari experience baru.gud luck anyways!
